Through curves and counter-curves, he achieves forms that are timeless and creates furniture with clean, flowing lines in a repertoire that is both subtle and sensual. Tirelessly exploring new transformation techniques, Pierre Renart works from veneered sheets of wood from French forests, glued individually with resin according to the glued-laminate technique. The first step in preparing the wood creates the illusion of a single endless strip. This is then shaped into the form of the piece of furniture before being finished off.

Pierre Renart’s furniture has a powerful presence, at once sculptural and functional.
His works are part of prestigious public and private collections. In 2019, a Möbius console in American walnut became part of the public collections of the MAD – Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. In 2021, a Möbius console in American walnut joined the collections of the Palais des Rois de Sardaigne in Nice.

In 2016, Pierre Renart designed the furniture for the Café du Studio Harcourt in Paris. In 2020, he created seven monumental pieces for the lobby of 22 Bishopsgate Building in London. Since 2021, he has been working with Longchamp to design bespoke furniture for their boutique and shop windows, in France and abroad.
Finally, the Hôtel Solvay, a private museum in Brussels, is acquiring his Banquette Möbius Alliance in 2025.
["GET
